Our menstrual pad consists of Algae, Cotton, Seaweed, and Cellulosic fibers that are in abundance. In addition, seed paper envelopes are included to give our customers the opportunity to grow their own poppy flowers. Our packaging consists of recycled paper and cardboard.

How you can grow your own flowers
Flora Nouveau wanted to create a feminine hygiene pad that would not contribute to plastic waste while at the same time creating a new life.

With our seed envelopes that come with every pad our customer will be able to grow their own poppy flowers!
​
While our customer is going through their cycle; they will now ben able to enclose the used pad into the seed envelope and plant it to soon see poppies.
​
The product can be used in several different circumstances like planting it in your backyard or planting it in a pot and having it indoors or even a community gardens.
​
Even if our product is misused and not planted and throw away, no worries! Since our pad is biodegradable it will not bring any harm to our environment.
